If you go with where you identify yourself as then half the models listed would be considered American, as most of them have duel citizenship or have given up their residency in the country of their birth. There are a few notable exceptions, Emily Ratajowski being one, as both her parents were American and she was born in England, thus she still retained American citizenship at birth, and was simply born abroad.

In the case of girls like Stella and Malaika I would be more likely to consider the team they are on based on their place of birth.
