COVID-19 still had 7K+ causalities in just the last two weeks in the U.S.

And that is almost certainly much lower than the actual number. There are quite a few people who still like to mask depending on where they are and what they are doing.

It’s a California thing currently for sure (masking) but I wouldn’t consider it madness. I am in southeastern US and I can’t remember the last time I saw someone masked up. The real madness is those who continue to deny the reality, existence, and/or danger of COVID. But with that said wearing in mask in the outdoors seems a little unnecessary to me. My guess is her mask wearing is a combination of the factors you already mentioned. I enjoy browsing this site for appearance photos, but these candid paparazzi shots are an invasion of these celebrities privacy so I don’t think it’s really fair to judge someone based on them. They are usually not even flattering so I don’t get why they get posted on here all the time.
