Seventeen months passed before Puleri’s parents reached back out to Razek about a meeting, giving their daughter more time to build up her experience. I'm worried about Ed. He must have limited judgement. What is wrong with him? Or maybe Puleri parents have some nasty tapes about him? I can't even imagine what the hell he can see in that girl.

Late on the topic but: on watching the backstage footage, I think Romee and Cindy were the only ones who were genuinely excited. Lily D looks so done. So does Barbara. 

THOUGHTS

Boho Psychedelic: Kate looks amazing af. Love how Maria stood out. Behati's opening was, I guess from C- to C. Elsa doesn't look happy. Martha looked so thin.

Exotic Butterflies: It's good that Ellie wasn't walking around and blocking the models but was she in one place while singing? Also, ADRI - in the instagram videos posted while she was walking, she looked naked, liked the wings but doesn't compare to Lais' v wings.. Jac looks so different and good for her for finally getting out of PINK (Just when PINK started looking good). Sara's outfit is very reminiscent of 2011's Ballet. Was expecting Miranda Kerr's 2008 wings reused tbh.

Was expecting a more elegant segment. What's with the creepy backdrop! And there were no portraits! Was expecting the models to stand between big ass frames before walking.

PINK USA: Gigi should've worked that turn more! I love a model who twirls (NAOMI CAMPBELL '05), except for Lily D's last year. MAUD WELZEN. And of course, Taylor Hill (who looks like a mix between Miranda and Ana Beatriz). Also, why were Taylor and that girl everybody dislikes were with Selena in the end(?). 

Ice Angels: Sorta different from Winter Wonderland of Glacial Goddesses '06 and Snow Angels. I love Lily D's wings. Izabel's wings look like they were Karolina's wings from 2002. Romee with Adri's wings. Did Ellie have a stuffy nose? or is she always nasal? 

Firework/s: Lily's sea urchin wings. Ale shushing the crowd. Cindy's wings were probably Adriana's 2010 FB wings which were recolored. Joan's spinning wings and snakes(?). Behati's light up wings!!! Devon's wings looked like gigantic sperms worms. CONSTANCE'S WINGS WERE AMAZING! Martha's corset looked like a torotot (Filipino New Years trumpet). Wasn't really a good show closer, in my opinion.

ELECTRIC LOVE during the finale! Probably that was supposed to be the Boho music. Was expecting Rewind Repeat It by Martin Garrix and they'd show clips of the old shows and former angels on the stage before sending everyone out. Not used to Adriana not leading the finale parade. Somebody tell that girl who nobody likes to stop sticking her tongue out! She looks like those awkward tumblr girls who nobody really likes. 

I know it's cliche, but last year's show was better. I'll bet I'll be saying this again next year. But then again, we'll have to wait 'til the broadcast. I'd want to see Kendall and that slight trip of hers more airtime for the veterans.

I frequently have to do double-takes at Romee to decipher if it's her or Candice.

It happens to me with Elsa and Rachel, especially when both were doing Pink.

Okay, I changed my mind about Megan Pirelli . She's a decent model. But she's not for VSFS. That make up didn't help her either. She's in Maud's league.

I still wanna know why this Megan girl was at the end of the runway with Taylor and Selena.

I must be the only one who isn't that into Gigi Hadid.  Aside from any criticism about the legitimacy of her career, I just don't find her face very pretty.

I saw a picture of Taylor and Selena hugging at the end of the runway which only made me more confused.

On another note (and I can't believe I'm going to say this) I think Maud did well this year. I saw the video of Selena's perfomance and her walk didn't look too bad. She looked better than in 2012/14 - the fake tan helped her look less ghost like - and tbh I would rather have her all excited, wide eyed and generally positive demeanour on the runway than Stella's idgaf attitude or Megan trying too hard.
