I'm vey surprised at some placings so far

I'm not in any way shape or form surprised.

All these models are niche models by which I mean they have minimal spikes in popularity based on their work and smaller groups of fans compared to say Candice Swanepoel, and untill they become more mainstream, or people vote based on other circumstances (beauty, sexiness ect), they will never be super popular. 

As an example - Behati's heyday is over, and unless she comes back with a vengeance, gets the FB bra, gets a divorce, gains some kind of gossip surrounding her, or books something like SI she'll continue to stagnate with only minor spikes of popularity here and there.

Fashion and models can be trend foretasted if you know what to look for...

The catch 22, if a model is super mainstream and pushed too much by fans/media/work then popularity can tend to wane. So for comps like this staying middle of the road tends to earn better results with the few exceptions like Taylor, Lais, or Candice.

I was surprised at first because I like some of those already listed, but thinking about it again none of these models are universally liked. They all have fans and detractors.

Also, thanks for all your work.

(I had been thinking about whether I wanted to see if I wanted to run a competition but sometimes it seems like too much work. )

True, but I was still surprised to see for example Behati placing so low (Not a fan, so I'm not complaining... I agree with that placing for her  ) considering the fans she seems or seemed to have.
