Counting scores.
I've been watching the patterns on how people vote and I can say with certainty that there is no rhyme or reason to how votes go, and that's kinda exciting cause even I have no idea where the model placings are going to end up.
There is a core group of about 20 girls who are very consistent with their numbers (ie you're truly popular/beloved models), but everyone else is all over the map... I've seen model go from a score of 19, jump to 114 the next week, then 60, then up to 199 and back down to 29 lol.
The flavor of the week is real folks ;p
That's very interesting and very exciting indeed

All the above might have a little to do with it, but as an overall not really. The models who seem to be jumping around each week correspond with the work or lack thereof that's come out, or the hype that's surrounding them because they just shot VS, or maybe a great magazine cover or editorial just came, or they are potential rookies for SI.
