We took Hailey Clauson, who was last year’s cover model, and Bo Krsmanovic, to the Arctic Circle, to Finland. It was my favorite shoot, but it was also probably my only shoot fail. We went there specifically to shoot the northern lights — and the lights did not show. The only time we saw them was from the plane on the way in. But the great thing about that shoot was we adapted. We ended up shooting in the daytime and took some of my favorite images of all time. Lights be damned, we still got amazing stuff.

I FEEL YOUR PAIN MJ. 

I went to the Arctic Circle in Finland for like 10 days and got zero lights except for a good five minutes before my train back to Helsinki left Lapland  I think they only shot for about three or four days tho, which is dumb considering it's nature, if you want to play it safe for a shoot you do need at least a week and to go even further north and go in January to improve your odds. That was poor planning on the SI team, also the fact that the didn't shoot any ice swimming or sauna? Fail that's the #1 Finn/Lappish thing to do o.o

As far as Kate Upton goes, IDK about all the girls but I do know some of the women can't stand her and it's not something new.

Even in the thumbnail for Hannah’s video, her make-up makes her look weird. Really severe like theatre or drag queen make-up.

It means instead of uploading the images onto BZ via our attachment feature upload it onto an outside host like imgbox, imagebam, imgur, etc.

Agree about Hannah

Its not just her body that went downhill this year. I'm more alarmed by this menacing look she has on her face in some photos. It reminds me of JK Rowlings description of Snape in the novel

If you think that was butt hurt, I am pretty sure they want us remove most of the official photos in this thread b/c they sent us another note saying we have not fulfilled their request  I am letting MD take care of this since he probably has a better idea of how to approach it

Yes  We already had to remove images (including scans) from previous years b/c of copyright infringement. By the looks of it I think they want us to not SI threads with their images

Meh, F@#K that magazine then! They have been disappointing us year after year with their BS political correctness and horrid model choices! This will for sure be my last year following them and purchasing the mag!
