Zaza was cold because he came in with 30 seconds left. He should've done better with his PK though.

If Zaza or Pelle makes their PK, Italy wins.

I actually wanted Italy to win the match and to make it through to the finals, I've enjoyed watching them play throughout the tournament so I was hoping to see the go on but alas, there goes my bet  I will say the amount of things they're comparing Zaza's run to on social media is cheering up the post match blues

Overall I thought this tournament was pretty poor and I struggle to think of a game I might remember ten years from now.

Most international tournaments have at least a couple of those, imho.

2014: Germany-Brazil, Holland-Spain, Mexico-Brazil for being a thoroughly entertaining 0-0, Belgium-USA

2012: Spain-Italy, Italy-Germany, Croatia-Spain

2010: Germany-England, Germany-Argentina,

2008: Holland-Italy, Holland-France, Russia-Holland

2006: Germany-Italy, Portugal-Holland (more for its hilarious, crazy nature), France-Brazil

2004: Holland-Czech Republic, Portugal-England, France-England

2002: South-Korea's entire run, Brazil-England

2000: So many games, perhaps the best tournament that I can remember

That was my favorite tournament ever, even tho Romania wasn't there. A lot of upsets... South Korea, Senegal, USA, Turkey. Too bad none of those had the power to go all the way. Especially Senegal, I loved that team.

Ghana - Czech Republic was also a very good match that year. So many chances in that game.
