They are what I thought them to be. I've never known any cases but I can imagine it not being fun at all.
During spring and summer time here where we live is FULL of bugs of every type and they get even inside your clothes.

i'm glad you like it! i wasn't sure because people here are more interested in models than celebs like actress and singers but i would like to try anyway
The minority (though sizable enough for a competition) that comes here for celebs seems to never ever vote. Ironically, I actually came here for Model ID because people I know in everyday life don't know any non 'supers' aside from Gisele . Despite that, I'm actually a celeb guy overall. Fashion models have the most beautiful average of any group, but the sentimental attachment to people in movies, shows and songs I like makes me a celeb guy. Norah Jones and Kimbra might not be knockouts for a model, but their looks combined with their talent 
...Obviously Charlize and Megan Fox (pre-surgery) are considered to be beautiful even for models.
I am however fascinated by the whole psychology of beauty and how its interpreted. There are some like Syria, Pinkcouture, katchitup, Prettyphile ect. with a system so clear that I can make a formula and others like clubparadise who are equally interesting that I can never see coming. Its fun to see people with similar perspectives as well as opposite. Oh, and I do have the same sentimental attachment to models like Gemma and Cintia are great in editorials and runway both .
yeah same for me, looking at my posts looks like i care just about models but because in the celebs threads the comments are just a few, is more about their pics
on the other hand on Tumblr i care mostly about celebs and tv shows/movies
and i agree about the sentimental attachment, though like you said there are a few models too
