there's something called a BMI (body-mass index) if you want a rough guideline of how much you should weigh for your height. Of course, it is a normative generalization and doesn't take into account a lot of other factors

It's a very accurate way of measuring the health of the weight of large groups, not of individuals. Off course, even with individuals, it's fairly accurate, for the most part.

*sigh* Most of the time I'm alright with being short and a lot of people think it's cute. But I don't want to be "cute" all the time! But I hate how short my legs are because of my height. :yuckky: Oh well! I'm really short because I've been a contortionist for pretty much my entire life and that stuff stunts your growth. But I don't mind giving up my height to do what I do because I love it.

Something I don't get about ''short'' celebrities is that they always look so tall like Namie Amuro even without heels she still looks pretty tall . I guess it's her body's portion/body structure. .....maybe

thats because they usually stand alone in pictures...and her dancers are asian people, and are also generally short...and yes, dancers, not models. sometimes she do look small standing beside hosts in a variety show....And yea, mostly its also because of body stucture and proportion. some do have a long legs and shorter body, or "higher" knees, or vice versa
