the problem is, it's like burglurs vs. security firms. they keep one-upping each other. by the time software is made to circumvent the annoying per page crap that these image hosts do, the image hosts are close to coming out with new code themselves...

when I add a Search-engine, nothing happens, tried re-installing but no use, can anyone help?

why don't you set google.com as your homepage?

yeah but on another pc I had the search-engine thingy filled with all kinda things, very useful, IMDB, Dictionary, Wikipedia, Mininova etc. etc., but its not working on this pc

just go to the actual sites, they will apreciate it more
