It looks like they got like a retro super nintendo controller too from this pic from eb games.

im pretty sure the main control is the motion sensing remote + joystick.

i know I just am a bit more happy cause it will be easier to play the old games now I mean goldeneye on that thing no :|

What are it's advantages over the other consoles?

u will be able to download I dont know about all, I I bet lots of all the games from nintendo, super nintendo, and gamecube. Its got a fun new controller that hopefully is better then it looks. Will be able to connect to the interent for multiplayer, and it will probably be alot cheaper

you can use the remote as a sword in 1 game, that would be sooo cool

You can use it as a sword in Zelda. Other intresting uses will be like the tennis racket demo they had which looks bad ass. And as a gun which should be intresting. Will have to try it out but I doubt I will buy a console ever since as you all know im very anti consoles

Well difficult for who, for us accustomed to playing with a controler, possibly. But for people who have never played a game in there life it seems like a far more natural input method. I mean everyone knows how to swing a racket, or everyone knows how to point and shoot same thing for a sword. Also nintendo has always been the best at making games simple for everyone to enjoy. But untill I have played with it I cannot say for sure.

Yea buts it not about the ability to swing the controller or push the button to shoot, its about when to swing and how it effects what you se on the tv, it seems to me it has to have some precision, unlike PS3 demo at E3 it looked liek the guy was haivng a seizure when playing Warhawk

about the seizure comment. Actualy thats kinda what i DONT like about these consoles, before you would get home crash on the sofa and just slouch down and only have to move your fingers which was a great way to relax, now they expect you to be moving ur hands and arms all over the place. aahh im lazy and i dont want to have to move to play games.

And with regards to coordination im sure as everything there will be a learning curve but should be too bad imo.

maybe my intentions on the console are not to paly new games but to play the old I would kill for all the Marios including Mario RPG, and the Donkey Kongs

Nintendo does have great games, I cannot wait to play the new Super Smash Bros, Zelda and more great RPG's, I'm glad this thing will be so cheap

its funny though, what will kids moms think when they ask what they are doing and they kids say, "Playing with my Wii mom"

I still think it should have been called Revolution, wii is such a bad name
