No, I don’t think Putin has started declining the same way as Donald… yet.

100% and it’s not the first time. I think Ukraine pulled off something similar before the last round of negotiations earlier this year.

Ukraine generally does massed Drone strikes in Russian territory

Overall I doubt anything will come out of this negotiation.

@Stromboli1 @Cult Icon

When I went to college 2 decades ago (I attended one of the most expensive schools) tuition cost $30,000/year. By the time I graduated it increased to $34,000. In 2015 the same school tuition increased to $80,000/year. I don't know how it costs in 2025 but it can't be any good..

Inflation is brutal in the US and I don't think the stats ever captured its reality. Food inflation is relatively mild compared to healthcare/education.

Two top Scandinavian universities (top 100 worldwide) / second degree 95% finished - $0/year. Student loans ∼ $18,000.

Yeah education, housing, and healthcare costs are out of control in the US/unbelievably dysfunctional.

that was 10 years ago lol. My interns told me this. So it's easily well over $100,000 now.

worse, when most people graduate from college in the US they find out that they only qualify for minimum wage jobs

The BLS (Bureau of labor statistics) appears to be extremely fraudulent, with absurd figures for 'entry level' jobs for different careers in their manuals.

I can’t think of anything more discouraging than graduating only to find yourself already hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt.

Maybe those "welcome to McDonald’s after graduating" memes weren’t that inaccurate after all?

100% accurate in the case of the US. I think it's mainly because higher education is private/public and there is no quota like in other countries who limit the size of say, the number of people in this field or that based on the market size in their country. So what happens is that 60% + get a college degree and of course the human resources are mismatched with the economy, which is dystopian capitalist slave system which pays people as little as possible.

Also the statistics the gov't claims for unemployment are dubious, have been for decades. During the great recession/Obama recovery people struggled to believe the figures were real and not propaganda. Even 10% unemployment seemed 2 times too low. Also part time work re-classified as employment in the Obama years etc. to present the image of a 'recovery'. Overall information technology has decimated the middle class.

That's capitalism’s idea of fun, apparently.
