Anyone got a better quality shot of this? Think it's Ralph Lauren. EDIT: found the original ad here:http://www.bellazon.com/main/topic/6349-andreea-diaconu/?p=2983841guess it doesn't have a better quality version.

Thanks Rosebud.
She looks good, but I wish Vogue Paris would use her in other types of editorials. The whole beach boho chic thing is getting a bit redundant.
Even in rags she looks fantastic. :neo2:
Wish she wouldn't work with DeBeers.
Why?
Thanks Rosebud.

+1

Whoa! Perfecto! Thanks guys!

Rhodesian?

This! But it's not just with Vogue Paris, it's an issue with all her editorials. I can't even remember when is the last time she had some exciting make-up or hairstyle, it's always natural. But I guess she should work with other photographers like Klein or Meisel, Knight for that to happen, and who knows if that's ever gonna happen.
Why?
She says that she is involved in some projects that fight for sustainable environment and economical growth in places such as Nairobi (Africa). DeBeers is the biggest corporation in the diamond exploration, and the existence of bloody conflicts in African countries fueled by the global diamond trade is related to them. It's a very complex issue, they said they changed their policy, but the fact is De Beers was the exact opposite of what she says she fights for. Of course she might not even know. There are other models that refused in the past to be the face of them

Really in love with the Vogue Paris shoot ![]()
Hope she gets the cover next time. She deserves it ![]()
exactly what I meant by Rhodesian
Diomand isnt the only trade wrecking Africa btw.

Thanks for the explanation, R0sebud.
Very interesting and very true. I knew about the conflicts implied in diamond exploration but I wasn't well aware about DeBeers policy. And I didn't know the fact that other models refused to endorse the brand.

No problem. well, she works in an industry that to a grater extent is filled with labor exploitation issues and so on, so it's impossible to be completely detached, and purist about this stuff. but I kind of hopped that maybe there is a point where she would say no. But who knows, maybe she knows better whats the reality with DeBeers now. Sorry for turning this thread into THIS discussion. ugh

Unfortunately, Vogue Paris has been stuck in a rut editorial-wise ever since Emmanuelle Alt took over. She's trying very hard with the whole 80s/90s revival. While I like that she's giving new faces (Andreea, Anna Ewers) an opportunity to shine, but, creative-wise, the styling and themes are really boring. This last editorial looks awfully similar to the one from 2013 when Andreea got the cover.
She's a wild one.
