I‘ve been hoping that her Vogue Spain cover/editorial with Irina will get them a campaign together. But yeah I agree it seems fashion people and even models are liking her stuff more recently. 

I actually think Adriana should NOT have posted that second picture. She really needs a social media team. Obviously the nudity was going to bring negativity and the risk of Ig deleting it. It seems like the one in her story got deleted. At least for me. Why couldn’t she just post it like Russel did???  People are thinking she’s a hypocrite because she said she wouldn’t get naked anymore but posted that. When Adriana said that, I think people didn’t realize she was saying she was against shooting vulgar shots/videos not necessarily posing nude. And it seems people are forgetting the EMPTY CAUSE part. Anywyas she shouldn’t have posted the second picture. She clearly went back to look for it too because russel didn’t post that. I may be wrong but it seems Adriana does things like that when she has a new boyfriend. Remember when she was with edelman she posted that naked mirror selfie? Although you couldn’t see much, it was an unnecessary picture. I don’t have a problem with it, but it’s obvious a lot of people will.

Yeah I don't agree. Its not her fault that people are stupid and don't want to remember the empty cause part. There are a number of people who do remember her saying the empty causes part. And the fact that she said "empty causes" was a big part of her quote. When it made headlines people mentioned that part as well. The second photo violates instagram's terms but the most they can do is remove it. Can she really be expected to have to consider all the children on Instagram before she posts a nude photo of herself? If a kid is on instagram (and by the way, they shouldn't be and it's largely on their parents) they're likely to be exposed to worse. 

In terms of the nude photo and her past statements. I think the issue in general is that she shouldn't have made that statement when she did. It was in poor taste and belied the way in which she has amassed her fortune and status. We all called it out at the time. It was a misstep. But the caption does make it overwhelmingly clear that the pictures for Russell's book were related to a good cause. It's not really a contradictory thing for her to do. That said, even though people should be smart enough to evaluate her statement in full before jumping on her, you know that they won't. And I think a large part of good PR/media relations is anticipating a backlash and knowing that it might be a bad look in light of her past comments and the stupidity of the outrage mob. However, I don't think this will be too bad for her.

Well there are plenty of kids on IG. But it doesn’t have to be just kids, maybe some people feel uncomfortable with that. It was unnecessary to post the second one. Russell didn’t do it. She clearly went and looked for it herself to post.

We already have those two in a decent quality, not HD but good. I'd have been more interested on the third photo we know she has on that book, never released if not for a small preview on acollage of photos for the book that we got I don't remember where, probably at the day of the presentaton event in NY she attended. Maybe she has more then 3, idk for sure even if somebody here on BZ said in another thread there aren't many of her, nobody scanned or photographed it sadly...

I didn't misinterpret anything. VS would seem to most as being a way for models to make money. Few people would regard it as something other than a means to make money and achieve a status within modeling. She received a lot of pushback for those statements and the timing of them. "Empty cause might be subjective, but there is a base line interpretation when you're a celebrity and you make a statement about not taking your clothes off after owing your career to a lingerie brand. I don't have an issue with her posting the images she did. Her caption in fact spoke to the opposite of an empty cause. But when she made that statement, the overwhelming response was people mentioning that she pretty much owes what she has to taking off her clothes for the sake of making money/vs. The backlash was strong enough to where people here pointed out that people in the industry took issue with her commentary.

Yeah I'm aware. I meant I wish she posted them in better quality. It would have been better for her feed.

Again, she never said she was against taking her clothes off. She walked VS another year and was clearly emotional. It’s clear she loved working with them and didn’t have something against them. She wasn’t talking about VS when she said that. She was clearly talking about Love Advent and doing another video similar to the one she did in the shower with a bunny. Adriana clearly doesn’t have a problem posing nude. She did it for Vogue Spain recently too. She is clearly against doing shots/videos that are vulgar. As I mentioned, VS isn’t vulgar. I mean the brand is targeted for women. SI as I mentioned is different. Vulgar and for men. 

I mean it’s IG policy NOT to pose nude photos. She should know its going to bring backlash.  

It seems like Adriana might already be in NY/NJ? The photo she posted in a robe dancing seems like it might be from a hotel/pre-prep.

She welcomed J balvin and Bad bunny to the stage with Victor Cruz. Not sure if we will find video of it. Lol she messed up and said what’s up New York but she’s in Jersey lol. She prob got confused cause It looks like she was staying in New York.

I think she’s staying in NYC too. I saw the Hadids were paped heading to VMAs in NY. It’s like a 40 min drive to Newark so yeah she may have been in NYC. But I saw it all over twitter too lol.

I did too. Some people think she might have said Newark but because of her accent it sounded like New York, because she probably would have said "New York City" anyway. IDK lol

And even if we knew she will get a Numero Russia cover i wasn’t hope for a printed edition. A big plus.

I asked last month whether she got a cover from Russia, i didn’t get a reply but i did a quick check: this is her first Russia cover. 👍🏻 

I wish she posted the glam shot as well but the video she posted was very well received. Like more received than Bella Hadid who also posted a video of it being her first time there. They both posted red carpet videos. Right now Bella Hadid, someone very popular and has more forllowers than Adriana, has less than 1 million views on her red carpet video and only around 1,000 comments. Adriana's video already reached 1 million views and has freaking 4,000 comments! That says something, especially since Adriana is way older and been around for so long and she can go to the same event as someone as young and popular as Bella but still have more impact with her presence

Yup I noticed this too. I see all the comments are very positive and saying how she’s looking better than ever. Someone needs to tell her to post that photo tho. She literally looks 20 in that shot. At LEAST the pictures Andrew Day posted although I prefer the other. If she doesn’t post it that’s unfortunate but it’s been reposted a lot already like by Maybelline. 

I think this was the most important carpet for Adriana this year although some of you guys were saying it wasn’t that serious of an event since she’s not in the industry. The VMAs have huge media coverage and it’s exposing Adriana to an audience outside of those who care about her or fashion. Obviously Adriana is well known enough but her showing up there looking good was important because some people were thinking she was losing it after how she was on her last VS show.
