i knew i was right, becuase he claimed that cortez ( a spainyard) that had discovered south america, but that couldnt have been true. and i have found many sites saying brazil is a country that has one of the most ethnicities than anyone else. something about like this:
80%portuguese (can include italian, german, and or spanish), 29% african, 30% japanese, and of course, amerindian which was about 43% becuase i have some friends in brazil, and one looks like an asian, one looks african american, and then one looked like gisele, kind of white-ish. it's the mixes and i knew they have lot's of mixes in them. and he claimed i was wrong. i wanted to punch him, becuase in a way he was disrespecting my brazillian friends and saying they were all "spanish".

sinha is like an indian name.....is sinha a nick name or ur 1st name or last??cause if it is last then you share the same name as some bengali indians...perhaps even the same blood line ...i dunno

True, but I agree that Gisele deserved it because she is the more successful model. I love Adriana much more, but she doesn't get anywhere near as much work as Gisele does, and it's almost always super high-profile campaigns and the like.

Has anyone seen a video of her actually saying she is a virgin? I don't doubt she said it, just like to see her say it. Would a virgin sit on a boy quote friend's face in a photoshoot like she did with lenny kravitz? Seems a little far fetched in my opinion. And then again she has done nude shoots too, so who knows.... She is in the sex sells biz.

Maybe so but come on, how many times have you seen a model take a pose like that? Never. You have to be really comfortable taking a shot like that, being seen like that. And not to mention with a total stranger according to you? It is not like an artistic nude shot. You only see soft porn models depicting acts like that. Clothed or not. She had no problem with her christian upbringing? I don't see any other supermodels depicting sex acts. Except there was one pretty racy shoot with Ana that I remember. And I'm sure being The best in the biz they have a choice in where to draw the line. She wasn't advertising underwear in that shoot... If you know what I mean.
A lot of models actually go along with what the photographer asks them to do, because it's their job and they don't want to offend the photographer or worse, asked to be removed from the editorial and thus, the job being offered to another willing model. If you were given a shot to be in a magazine, would you pass up the offer from getting the exposure? I wouldn't.
As for her being a virgin or not, who cares? Even if it does go against her religion "upbringings", how many people do follow their religion to the fullest, and even so, it's hard to go by it, considering the many contradictions (or so I've heard).
Either way, she's amazing. She can do whatever she wants and still be a virgin. We all can.
Honestly, this whole virginity dispute has been dragged through the mud so many times that its barely recognizeable. Why should we deliberately find ways to contradict what she claims to be true? I just don't see the point of automatically assuming someone is a liar instead of just considering the fact that, who da thunk it, SOME people actually tell the truth!

I'm not looking for a long discussion on this but you and I could never command 10, 20.000 for a days work. With magazines and photographers lining up to work with you, willing to fly you all around the world just to get you into focus. She is one of a few who can pick assignments. We're not talking about "lots of models", only Adriana. And OK, maybe she got manipulated into that shot or had one too many or whatever, it doesn't really matter. What matters is that she opened her mouth and left herself open to this speculation. Whether it's true or not, she has done damage to herself. She should have kept it to herself, especially in her profession. I mean really, how many sex symbols you think of, as a virgin?....Just my two cents.....

ohbaby, true. But, at the time of THAT shoot, Adriana Lima wasn't as known as she is today. No one hardly knew who she was. Yeah, they knew her by face - but, no one knew her name (atleast I didn't). NOW, she's a household name, everyone know's who she is due to the exposure Victoria's Secret gives their models now (Angels Across American, fashion shows, commercials). So, what I'm trying to say is, she probably wasn't amongst those models that get to choose their "assignments" so she didn't turn it down, OR simple, she wanted to do the shoot.

Oh come on, how many times has she said that she is acting when she is working, and that she isn't like that in real life? I think she's a professional. A good model works with what the photographer wants to do, and that's what she did. It doesn't mean she spends her spare time sitting on strangers' faces.
There is PLENTY of sexual material in photography, by reputable photographers and models. Just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean it's not out there.
Ever notice that Adriana seems kind of modest about her body sometimes? Not when she's actually working (hence the nude shoots and such) but I've noticed like backstage at Rosa Cha, she had that sweatshirt tied around her butt b/c she was wearing a thong bottom. Also at that VS swim shoot with Ale (the bellybutton video for E!) she was wearing a thong bottom and had a towel wrapped around to cover up. At the recent VS event with Ale and Izabel, she was the only one who didn't have midriff showing. haha, maybe it's confirmation bias but it's something I've thought more than once..
