well it's not a big deal i know, the only reason i mentioned about it was becuase you sounded so excited, but most things on wikipedia arent so true simply becuase it's just written by any people who may or may not know what they are talking about. Capoeira is a brazilian dance/excersize tradition that involves alot of twisting, flipping, turning and alot of other neat techniques and movements. it's a bit different than martial arts considering it's not really there for people to learn how to protect themselves, it's something they did for fun i guess.

She is doin Kapoeira which is more a dance than a fightsport lol i know it ....about bjj it seems real cause she was friend with keyra gracie who is a famous Brazilian jiujitsu practicioner moreover i've seen pictures of her with anonio rodriguo "minotauro" nogueira and she was more like the fan meeting a star( actually he is a big one in brazil & japan)

And Adriana does do MMA, I heard her say it on an interveiw on Extra, I'll try and find the clip on youtube or something and then post a link (if I can figure out how to do that...)

Well if the height required is 5'8, it's only 2 inches shorter (don't know cm, sorry)

My mother doesn't like Adriana ('s looks) at all. Before i always showed her Maybelline ads and told her i loved her and she was my favorite model... She was like i don't like her that much.

Then the other day i showed her bunch of absolutely gorgeous candits and she still said..I definitely don't like her(look) , she is not Pretty at all She is very plain!

I know many people who say Adriana's body looks like a 12 year old boy. Or a prepubescent body with boobs. They are probably actually jealous, but it's amazing how often I hear people say that Adriana is plain, not curvy enough, and too tall and skinny. Duh she's a model! But these comments come from both men and women who seem to think the curvier the women the more attractive and they think Adriana does not measure up. I personally think Adriana is curvy (my body is very similar) but to each his own. Everyone has different tastes.

Example: This was posted on Female First forum, discussing Lima- "Boring and overrated. She's about as curvy as a 10 year old boy. She's barely a looker without her makeup and has enormous buck teeth. She's thin as a rail too."

Many, many people find her VERY unattractive for some strange reason.

I think thin model women appeal more to Women then Men. How many fans of Ana Beatriz Barros and Ale are Women vs Men? It seems a lot of the stick thin models on here for example, have 10 women fans for every one or two male fans.

Most men are checking out the women with larger boobs and butts......

1. People that look exotic generally seem more attractive. So if you see blond and pale skinned men everywhere there is a big chance you will find a dark haired guy attractive even if he isn't as tall and good looking as the blond ones. In my case I can't name one central/eastern European model I could call stunning. Karolina is beautiful but others look ordinary to me, and honestly... I don't even know their names.

There is a big chance you will find Adriana's fans in places/countries where her type of beauty isn't common.

2. I'm not sure if men generally like curvy women. Maybe I'm a weirdo but in my opinion Adriana looked best when she was about 20. She didn't look as curvy as she is now (she looker extremely skinny and usually I don't like that), but her face seemed incredibly young and simply stunning. I've read a psychological study about the way men judge a woman's looks and according to it men pay most attention to a woman's face (the other important bodyparts are obvious - boobs and butt)

3. You wrote that models have much more female fans. I don't think that is true. Most men are a different kind of fans then women. We don't usually care about a models personality, personal life, we don't join fanclubs etc. We only like their looks. Since female fans are more active then male fans it may seem the first group is much bigger then the second one.

it's all about the taste but what amazes me is the same people find the ones like Isabel Goulart extremely pretty..i'm not bashing on her,that was just an example but..that's weird.

I find that men in general like curves over straight bodies. Yes, Adriana has no boobs and has chicken legs...but she has an amazing face and butt. Yes, her teeth aren't perfection, but I think they make her look beautiful. Besides, no one is perfect and I do agree that she has a very different look to her that makes her look exotic and that adds to her already beautiful face. I too find that women find other women with slimmer figures to be more beautiful...I think women in general are just too critical of each others' bodies. As far as what do men and women look for first in beauty, my nonverbal communication class has backed up some stats on that beauty is in the face over the body as a whole.

I'm a size 12, which is really like a size 8 in REAL sizing...but you know stores...they love to go smaller now. Anyway, so I'm a size 12 and I have a stomach and a bubble booty. I have full C size boobs...I personally think I'm a round marshmellow (I say marshmellow because I have really fair skin); however, men and women think I'm "pretty" or "beautiful" or "gorgeous" and when they say this, I think they are more so referring to my face over my body. Because I am definitely not a size 6 or 4! Lol! I have a belly and my arms aren't skinny little sticks...so when people tell me I'm beautiful, I believe sometimes only because I know I am much more critical of myself and my looks than others are and also, I am a woman and women are more unforgiving about bodies and beauty and flaws.

Just my two cents...
