Whether you like PC or not, this story we're discussing is very interesting.

It's the story of a game called  "the Last of Us II" produced by Naught Dogs. Plots of the game have been leaked, allegedly by an employee that has been abused (financially and/or morally) by the company. Allegedly, the writers killed beloved characters and replaced them with zeitgeist obsessions.

This company hired Anita S., a very influential feminist (known for harassing individuals and blackmailing gaming companies), whose company went bankrupt last year. Now, her employees work for her for free (just like Carole Baskin, they abuse people with good faith  ).

After the leaks, Sony and Naught dog went nuts and used a shady shell company to attack/sue/shut down anyone that disagrees with them. 

All in all, it's a story of how big oligopolies abuse their powers, how they can fall prey to ideologues and how divisive politics generate backlashes, which clash with their totalitarian dreams. Sad story. Very 2020.

So many big studios have turned bad in the recent years:

- EA is one of the most hated companies in the US... Their lootbox system is so aggressive and addictive for younglings (like gambling) that there has been some laws against these guys.

- Bethesda has become crazy after Fallout 76, one of the biggest rip-offs of the decade (and such a lazy game)

etc.

There are still some good guys like CD Projekt (I love them) or Ubisoft (even if they have bad moments). What's good is that the good guys get rewarded and the a**holes get punished by the consumers. There's still enough competition in this industry.

The Naughty Dog guy's name is Neil Druckmann that I was referring to in my previous post.

I haven't followed the drama behind this guy however my interest in Last of US 2 dropped from the first trailer, which showed that you play as his daughter.   I do remember that in the expansion, there is a hint that his daughter was bisexual or lesbian which was odd.  

The new trailer is missing all mention of Abby after this leak!  

I wish they made the daughter straight and attractive, maybe putting in a traditional romance instead of having lesbian and transgender romances/stories.  Also revenge stories are very cliched', not interesting.  From what I remember the original game, my interest was mainly about what their lives were after the events of Last of Us, meaning both Joel and his daughter.  The first game was mainly about Joel.  

+edit I realized that I confused Ellie for his daughter, it was really a girl he picked up.  It's been too long.

What a waste of government time and resources as many cities have idiots in charge.
