I didn't give a fuck about this SJW crap until it started to creep into everything I like and started to ruin those things I like by infesting it with SJW ideology. Once you turn it on, you can't turn it off.

I'll admit ignorance was bliss!

Same here.

And I'm becoming really concerned with these SJWs, now that I see that they promote unhealthy behaviors, like Gillette.

I really like curvy models, I think a lot of them are great, but here, it's not a curvy model!! Here, Gillette promotes obesity. They can't say that it's "positivity". Medicine says it's not positive. So, that's harmful to vulnerable people

I don't like that the models that work their ass off and sacrificing to stay in shape to lose out on big time dream jobs that are given to body positivity models. It's crap and they're not the best person for the job. It's like this is the affirmative action of the modeling world.

I appreciate a company that celebrates a woman’s curves by showing all shapes and sizes. I understand that it’s not everyone’s favorite beverage, and I’m cool with that too.

I agree with @Stromboli1 on the women who are passed over to place a SJW lip service person instead. Like SISE these last few years.

(Slight sarcasm coming)

As for the lady above that @Enrico_sw posted, she (like a lot of us are) also curvy. Ours merely go outwards.

I think it's logical that they use all sized models for catalogs, because you want to sell all sizes, but it's very questionable for SISE as you both said.

Also, I draw a line between curvy models like these two models (who are great - particularly Laura, who is among my favorite models)...

...and overweight models like Hunter McG (who apparently used to have food disorder issues - she was anorexic at some point... )

Also, Laura and Mercy have beautiful faces and they are professional model (meaning they know how to pose), whereas Gillette girl is just an activist. I also hate that they had to invent another "privilege", called... (you guessed) it the "thin privilege"

Thank you for those threads! I’ll check them out.

I too hate that there’s another “privilege” out there. Ever since the child idiot who got a super light sentence because of “affluenza”, the word privilege has become a dirty and overused word in my mind.

Hunter is not alone in the world of eating disorders. I know several survivors of that battle. It is sort of easy to go to extremes with EDs. Just like other Mental Illnesses and Disorders

Note: I am trying to not take sides or create an argument, I am merely trying to articulate my thoughts and explain that we don’t know what the “activist” may have or gone through to be that size in that photo.

What ever it is, I applaud the smile. She looks like she’s having fun.

I don't mind that all, just don't like it forced on me and then giving me a lecture about how morally superior it is.

I bet they don't take into consideration the hard work that thin people put in to stay thin.

Certainly sounds like jealousy to me to come up with another idiotic privledge.

Chappelle's new special has a 0 rating on Rotten Tomatoes. He  must have pissed off the far left woke authoritarians.

@Enrico_sw  I got a trail runner, nearly identical to the Merrill type shoe.  What's odd is how narrow the heel is compared to regular hiking or walking shoes- seems less stable than normal for anything except running and fast walking:
