Canada On Verge Of Having A Gender Neutral 'O Canada' Anthem
This has been talked about for awhile and the fact it got to the senate is a fucking joke.
TL:DR/ don't care for Canada stuff, Mauril Bélanger the moron he was, said that having "in all thy sons command" was sexist and we shouldn't be signing this as our national anthem, so he ranted and raved and it got passed (short version). Because of this, if it passes they will probably change other parts included "God Keep Our Land" which even myself not believing in god I'm not offended nor do I care, and it will create and endless cycle. No-one I know is offended by it, no-one cares, no-one really wants anything to change, every woman I know doesn't give two shits about saying "all thy sons command."
