To specify I am not a fan of the recent mainstream Country stuff. TBH I am not a huge fan of most mainstream music. Perhaps I am older and am no longer the target so most of it doesn't appeal to me. I am ok with guys like Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Glen Campbell, Kenny Rogers, etc. This video is from 2013 and it is still true currently:
