again, Grammy awards only show that you sell a lot of records. really, she's a pretty terrible singer. I personally don't see anything redeeming about her music, but as you both say, she's sold tons of records, so there are lots of people that like her music-type-thing.

and the acting, I don't know. most of her movies are pretty bad. Gigli? Enough? she's done a couple of decent things, but compared to someone who can really act, I think the descrepancy becomes pretty obvious.
