I’m not rooting for France. They seem a bit haughty and like the games are a tad beneath them. I want to see a real team win, not just a group of individuals. Passion for winning!

Argentina's football association is one of the worst in the world (disorganized, etc.), almost certainly the worst among the better football countries.

Messi was so frustrated at one point, he wanted to quit playing for Argentina, but couldn't go through with it.

^^  Absolutely, Sampaoli left out good players. He also made really good players look useless with his coaching (or lack of coaching). Things are not good in Argentina. I'm glad I'm not there, it would be too depressing.

Rumor is that Messi actually chose the squad, also has a feud with Icardi and other players.

Players should never be allowed to pick the squad, more proof of Sampaoli's weakness, if true.

Sampaoli was pretty much picked by Messi to coach the team. 

And that tweet says that now there’s rumor that a group of players are asking for him not to coach the last match against Nigeria

Damn, thank you! He did leave the field like a bat outta hell as soon as the match ended. And was screaming a lot during the whole duration of the game. Didn’t seem like a coach who the team would trust and vice versa.

Rúrik Gíslason (Iceland) looks like a model. If he was a star player like Cristiano Ronaldo, David Beckham etc., he could have major endorsement deals.
