I can simply scan my drivers liscense, chop, brighten, and insert any photo with someone looking forward onto my card, and bang. Thats a new ID

They almost always end up in Asia, buying gas or something stupid, but Visa is very good about re-couping that
Im sure it happens alot. I dont have a CC, but its happened to my mom. She was on vacation in SA. Some1 called my home saying if anyone had taken out 1.000 dollars from her Visa, of course we didnt. She wasnt even here. Neway it ended up being some scammers who got a hold of her CC number and her password. Took out money 2 days before her coming back to Canada. Funny thing is too., While her stay in Ecua. She had a man do a tarot reading on her saying that some1 is going to rob you of money. ha! So it ended up being some guys from Richmond Hill , She got her money back thankfully. BUt ya its defintely a problem. Just gotta be extra carfeul. Im sure its also big with ID theft. I have my pics all over the net. Same with alot of other ppl. I dont know if i should worry or not. But ive never had a problem. That I know of anway. You cant smile anymore in Canadian passports. Mine was updated last year and you bet I got a big ass smile on my passport pic heh 
tell me about id theft i turned 18 and went to open a bank account and it said i already had one and someone was using my social security number to write checks. worst thing ever.

ya i hear that in the USA its real bad.. But im sure its going to be just as bad here. But its not talked about as much. I read stories you can buy a Social Security number for like 100$ a Drivers licence, a passport etc and ur ready to work in America. Scary that can happen. I dont even think there is a way around it even if you are really careful. Theres always a scammer who is 2 steps ahead of you.
