Thanks for that video! I hope Silverchair tours over here in the States next year, that would be amazing.

they will as usually.
their biggest succes are in Australia and in United States so... they will come!
by the way, if daniel lives in New York with Louise maybe there will be many gigs... as in 2003 in London when he lived with Natalie...

Interview on the radio:
Reclining on a couch somewhere in Newcastle, spills the beans on the band's 'rockier, but synthier' new album in the works.

Daniel Johns says Silverchair is excited to be making a new album
Daniel Johns spoke with Australian radio station triple j this week to tell fans what the Chair were doing at the moment.Johns is back in Newcastle for the summer and said he's happy to be relaxing after a challenging few months in New York City writing for a new Silverchair album.
"It ended up coming along pretty well. I had pretty serious bout of writer's block but then something snapped that needed to snap and I ended up writing a few things that I was happy with. Then I came back to Australia and met up with the band and we did some more demo-ing."
He reported that the new album will head back to the Silverchair rock sound.
"I guess it's dirtier ... it doesn't feel as polished and pop, but the mind difference is there's a lot more experimentation with instruments. I think there's only guitar on about four songs so far out of fifty. So I've got synthesizers… it's weird because it sounds like there's a lot more going on than there actually is on a lot of the tracks."
Johns said that he's hoping the new album will be out some time next year. No dates have been released yet!
Silverchair's most recent release was back in 2007 with the very successful 'Young Modern'.
