That is just one of the insights Carrie Underwood offers as the new Self magazine January 2010 cover girl.
A few more highlights:
Carrie on her ‘no soda’ rule: “My sugar intake is way down, and I have a lot fewer breakouts. Now when I drink tea, it’s unsweetened. Or I’ll have water. Also, I’m off soda. For so long, I’d have a Diet Coke with breakfast!”
Carrie on whether she can do 80 push-ups: “Push-ups work out everything. If you do them right, you’ll feel it in your abs. I do four sets of 10 to 20.”
Carrie on how no one can mess with her kitchen: “It drives me crazy when people put stuff in the wrong place. When I have people over and they try to help clean up, I’m like, ‘No, I’ve got it!’ I may not be able to control every aspect of my life, but I can control where my pots go and what colour cups are lined up where. Carrie on how she relieves stress: “If I’m ticked off, I’ll get a punching bag and beat the crap out of it.”

Carrie Underwood is a casual beauty on the January 2010 cover of Self. Here’s what the 26-year-old girlfriend of hockey player Mike Fisher had to say:
On her biggest pet peeves being animal neglect and kitchen chaos : “I hate it when people don’t take care of their pets. It’s important to spay or neuter them… And it drives me crazy when people put stuff in the wrong place. When I have people over and they try to help clean up, I’m like, ‘No, I’ve got it!’ I may not be able to control every aspect of my life, but I can control where my pots go and what color cups are lined up where. The red ones go here.”

SENATORS' FISHER ENGAGED TO SINGER UNDERWOODOttawa Senators forward Mike Fisher and American country singer Carrie Underwood are engaged to be married.
Fisher confirmed the news after rumours of the engagement began spreading after a friend of Underwood's family congratulated the couple on their upcoming marriage on his Twitter page on Sunday.
Underwood was in Kanata on Saturday for the Senators' 4-1 victory over the Minnesota Wild.
The couple has been dating for about a year. Last season, Underwood and fellow pop vocalist Hilary Duff (dating now-former Senator Mike Comrie) brough plenty of star power as they were often spotted watching games from a luxury box at Scotiabank Place.
The 26-year old Underwood won the fourth season of 'American Idol' and has sold more than 10 million albums.
Lucky man Mike is. Great hockey player too
