That Derek guy apparently got fired from Vogue (?) and now works for youtube...
Olympia is 1 million dollars for first place, and second place is half a million IIRC. I don't remember the prize money for 3rd-6th place.
Yea Classic Physique is a "side" olympia. Men's Physique is even more ridiculous- it's just a couple of grand while a small army of jacked dudes with no legs compete locally.

Many men have died to win the Olympia. There is little money in US bodybuilding- it's golden era was in the 70s-90s.

I only vaguely follow this (b/c I have her channel bookmarked) but it always seemed like the high hopes of a permanent vanlife seemed unfounded. I wasn't sure if it was mainly to grow her channel, either.
