Equivalent to the Guitar Masters thread but this time with singers.
Those whose voices amaze you. Be it for their incredible range, on point technique, or maybe because of a beautiful timbre or sheer expressiveness.
I'll start with probably the most obvious choice:
Freddie Mercury
This is amazing: isolated vocals track of The Show Must Go On
Incredible and so powerful performance, even more considering he was practically dying by then...

One of the most powerful voices of the early '70s, and damn what a range!
The moment I discovered I had a crazy wide range as well, he became a huge influence on my singing, especially (and obviously) on reaching those so damn high notes.
Ian Gillan

Robert Plant!

One of the greatest voices in Heavy Metal in one of his finest performances:
Bruce Dickinson on Alexander The Great by Iron Maiden

Mr. Tom Jones
What a voice!

Alicia Keys

Chris Cornell
His twangy voice![]()
Her melancholic voice
Her crazy and beautiful performance
His powerful voice
Her peaceful voice
His devilish voice

Awesome, this came to life!
All great voices so far
Except for Billy Corgan
Such an awful voice
I can't stand it

Though I don't dislike this (anymore) it's still far from my favorite music, BUT!
If there has been a wonderful and oh so utterly beautiful voice it was hers
Karen Carpenter

Peter Cetera
