Irish-born Boo was gifted his first camera from his Dad, which began a lifelong passion and vocation. He was granted a scholarship to a college in Northern England where he studied photography for three years. His final project included images of gypsies and fisherman, and was the beginning of Boo's signature style, which encompasses a quietude and love of character.
In 2013, Boo's talent was further recognised by the International Centre of Photography and W magazine when they announced him as the winner of The Shot, a competition to find the next generation of fashion photographers.
Boo has contributed to top titles including numerous editions of Vogue, W, Love, Arena Homme + and i-D. His portfolio also boasts campaigns and collaborations with coveted clients such as Calvin Klein, Emporio Armani, Dior, Joseph and Ralph Lauren. He has turned his lens towards celebrity faces including Kim Kardashian, Eddie Redmayne, Emma Watson, Helen Mirren, Michael Fassbender and Sienna Miller.
