Now "Mother" from Raised with Wolves is scary !

 

My favorite girl in the show is Maeve.  Then Starlight.  Then Homelander's baby mama.

Episode 4 was very good and it looks like things will really escalate from here.  Homelander has never gotten this mad.  He will probably have sex with Stormfront before he kills her.  It is funny how he threatened starlight and then starlight proceeded to betray the 7 in a reckless manner.

 

Becca is my #2 now, I want to her to mammy my babies.  Maeve doesn't seem to be doing much right now.

 

There are two things that they ripped off from older movies:

 

1. Taxi driver /attempted assassination scene

 

2. Starlight's "so tell me, am I lying" is cribbed from the awesome Denis hopper scene in True romance.

Ultra spoilers:  for those who read the comics and know what happens there:

While the story has superficial relation to the comics, the character fates so far seem to moving along similar paths

 

1. Stormfront is Homelander's DNA donor and they have similar powers except for the lightening instead of lazer eyes.  In the comics the boys kill stormfront.  Maybe here Homelander and starlight will kill Stormfront.

 

2.Huge and Starlight will survive. The rest of the boys will die

 

3. Black Noir will get revealed in the end and it's going to be crazy.  Homelander will die at the very end, so the show will never kill him off or threaten him.  It is probably unlikely that Homelander will ever go rogue until the very end, even though the show has been teasing this.

 

4. Maeve will be killed by Homelander

This is Warren Ellis' "No Hero".  It is very similar to the Boys and could have been set in the same universe.  I like this story better than any of the stories in the boys
