By that I meant that I can't read Chinese, so I can't read the month and whatever else it's written in the magazine, that's what I meant. I can see the year and the photographer, have no clue about the rest. Perhaps metadata wasn't the right word to use. The rest of the details.

This image is from the issue with Kara Young on the cover. There is no month for this magazine because Elle China started in 1988 with only two issues per year. In 1994, it changed to a bimonthly magazine, and in 1997, it became a monthly issue. So this particular magazine is dated 1990 Fall (number 6).
