Escada 1983!? 🤔 Where did you read that? I find it weird because 1983 was the year she did the "Elite look of the year" contest, where she was one of the 15 finalists along with Cindy Crawford. And her first appearance in a magazine is in 1984, the following year. So I find that one bizarre, that she would walk Escada that same year. Could it be that she got mixed up with Joan Severance, who obviously started modelling before Stephanie? I've seen some pics online of Joan mislabeled as Stephanie before, just a theory.

If you mean this, this is Joan Severance, not Stephanie Seymour, it was mislabeled by Getty, which is embarrassing 😬😉

Yes, that's the one! Thanks for the correction. You're a true Stephanie expert! 🥰

Been a fan for a minute 😉. On top of my head, she did Ernestina Cerini fall/winter 1992 ready to wear (there's a clip on Instagram of Stephanie with Judit Masco & Brenda Schad in that show), and Les Copains, i also think fall/winter 1992, i had a picture of Stephanie in it, i have to see if I can find it.
I think she walked for John Galliano in 1996.

She also did Les Copains fall/winter 1992
Ernestina Cerini fall/winter 1992 (I only have a screenshot from a small Instagram clip of the show, from the account @90sfashionflashback)
Richard Tyler 1996
Pamela Dennis 1999
and yes, she also did Galliano 1996.
I also have this image from a runway show, I've literally had it for years, but could never find out from which runway show it comes from, perhaps someone here can solve this riddle.
And this one as well, I don't know where it's from
And Donatella Versace, i think 1998
I might be mistaken but I think the white bandage dress was from Dolce and Gabanna in 2000.
And I know I've seen the one with the hat somewhere... I always thought in was from an editorial, something in Vogue circa 1988, bu Arthur Elgort maybe?
As for the one in the grey pantsuit, it seems to be from the same show as the Pamela Dennis in 1999, it's the same logo in the background. And if I am not mistaken, it wasn't really a fashion show but some sort of charity event. So maybe the pantsuit was the same charity, but another year?

It seems to me very Donatella Versace 1998, many other dresses from that show have very similar bondage style, and every source on the internet with that picture says Donatella Versace

No clue. I see people sitting down in the background, almost like @ the first row of a fashion show, but I don't know

Yeah, different years would make sense. If you look at the pattern of the floors, the one in the grey pantsuit pic is different from the one in the other pictures. The hairstyles look slightly different as well. But again, no clue

I think I remember in French ELLE the. photo you posted saying how Dolce and Gabanna were inspired by Alaïa and they had even used one of his favourite models. But again, my memory could be playing tricks... I does indeed look like the Donatella Versace dresses you posted...

Just Google Dolce & Gabbana 2000 and see how insanely different is the whole runway setup for those shows, both spring/summer and fall/winter. Then Google Donatella Versace fall/winter 1998 and the whole runway floor and setup is identical to the one in the Stephanie Seymour picture for every other model as well. It's impossible that every single website has mislabeled Versace for D&G, they all got year and designer wrong for every single picture, not just the Stephanie Seymour one. Just basic common sense.

The dress is from Atelier Versace (Haute Couture) F/W 1998. She wore it for the 9th Annual Fire and Ice Ball in 1999 at Universal Studios in Los Angeles, CA. The event, one of the biggest Hollywood fundraisers of the year, benefited the Revlon/UCLA Women's Cancer Research Program and featured Versace's new collection.
Spoiler
Erin O'Connor originally modelled the dress on the runway; later, it was worn by Naomi Campbell at the joint De Beers and Versace "Diamonds are Forever" event in London, 1999.
