I play Piano, Pipe Organ, French Horn, Trumpet, Clarinet, Sax, Flute, Piccolo, Cello, Violin, and Guitar (both electric and acoustic). I'm currently learning to play the Harp.I'm classically trained. I practice 7-11 hours everyday.
I've been playing since I was 6, that's almost 12 years and counting.
I play the piano, guitar, flute, and the african drum...

I'm considering buying my first electric guitar this September... it will be a cheap one (Squier Bullet Strat by Fender), I already have an amp (Line6, Spider III 30)
I used to play guitar only one year and still playing harmonica (self-learning).
I'm just a beginner. ![]()

when you learn how to play an instrument you need LOTS of practice!
and frankly 8/10 times I play I think I suck! ![]()

violin- 6 yrs (taking a break)
guitar- barely ![]()
i want to learn- drums, harp (i know

I have named "him" the Silver Montster...
(Montster is Monte Pittman's nickname)
(Monte Pittman is the guitarist for Madonna, Prong, Adam Lambert etc.... the reason why I got the LP!)

Guitar...
Piano...

I can kinda sing...
And I really wanna learn how to play the harmonica. ![]()

Do want :| How much was it?
I've been playing guitar on and off for a little over a year. I'm ok

Piano 9 years
Guitar 5 years
However, I used to play almost every day and now I am just... too lazy, I guess. And not that interested anymore.

Wild Rose, that is an awesome guitar! 22 or 24 fret?
I can play guitar, if I HAD to, but it's not something I do regularly.
Harmonica a bit
Didgeridoo
Hammer dulcimer
I've been playing piano since i was like 6, but I'm mostly self taught, since lessons never lasted longer than a couple months before I gave up. I hated reading music, and even today, I barely can. I do everything by ear.
I've moved more towards electronic synthesizer stuff and digital music composition
My 2 complete compositions:

Nice guitar Wild Rose!
thank you! I love it!

I bought it for 1090 Euros. It's a limited model and exclusive at Musician's Friend & Guitar Center. I was lucky enough to find one at the German music store Thomann and ordered it from there. MF sells it at $1400
here's one more pic

violin
cool Cult. not an easy one to learn
my 6 year old son loves palying wioth my guitar, yet his real talent seems to be the drums

I spent a tremendous amount of time with that instrument growing up. My parents also spent a sizable figure with all the private lessons. I think the pursuit of music must move hand in hand with psychological need. If music greatly enhances one's life, one should pursue it and continue to do so. Otherwise, it could unfortunately end up being a sunk cost with limited marginal utility. Thus an instrument with maximum complexity should be sought- instruments like piano and the violin have a very large range of movement and expression so even after when one devotes xxxx hours to it the physical and emotional investment in it will have a higher probability of generating steady if not growing returns.
Personally..I wish I spent that time differently.

drums, guitar & bass
but I am pretty much out of the drumming
