search function not working

question for you. when you reset whatever it is that keeps dropping for the search function it seems like maybe the period of time while it was down isn't available for searches even after you've reset things. not sure on your tech stack, but i'm guessing there's some word indexing going on and wondering if the reset only starts that back up rather than covering the time it was down.

Yea, so the search uses a whole different DB called elasticsearch. So that did not crash during the outage so I was actually wondering if there would be some issues. I will take a look to see if it can be resolved but I am not sure.
