Another Jensens related news is that, his fictional brother and best friend Jared Padalecki is official engaged with their Supernatural co-star Genevive Cortese (Ruby on the 4th season)

Reps for Jared Padalecki confirm to us exclusively that the rumors are true, and he is engaged to marry former Supernatural costar Genevieve Cortese.

Padalecki plays Sam Winchester on the CW’s cult-hit series about a pair of demon-hunting brothers on a destiny run; Cortese appeared on the fourth season of the series as the second embodiment of the comely but eeeevil demon Ruby. (Melrose Place star Katie Cassidy played Ruby’s first iteration.)

So how did this happen, and when’s the big day?

The couple, whose characters shared some superhot sex scenes and a dysfunctional but intense relationship during their time together on the show, have been dating very, very stealthily.

Padalecki’s reps declined to confirm Internet reports of a late-winter wedding date.

Jared Padalecki: Conan The Barbarian Competitor

Supernatural star Jared Padalecki is the third actor in the running to star in the remake of Conan The Barbarian

It was reported earlier this week that Kellan Lutz (Twilight) and Jason Momoa (Stargate: Atlantis, Baywatch) are the two others in competition for the role.

Conan is set to start production on March 15 in Bulgaria but as previously reported that Padalecki’s schedule might be causing a little bit of trouble — he plans on tying the knot with fiancee Genevieve Cortese this spring in Sun Valley, Idaho.

Directing Conan is Marcus Nispel, who worked with Jared on the 2009 horror flick Friday the 13th.

So I had the pleasure of meeting someone from the crew off of Supernatural last night, (the owner of the Impala to be specific) and found out a few interesting facts. Obviously I had my typical fandom moment and gushed over how cute he was, which brought the guy a bit of humor and I may be lucky enough to get Jensen's autograph, (one of the few actors I actually am interested in getting.) However what makes the meeting even better is I found out a few interesting little tidbits on set life. I guess Jensen is an absolute sweetheart, a pleasure to work with and quite laid back whereas his co-star Jared is a little bit of the opposite.

Rumor has it, at least from this crew members mouth is that Jared is a bit of a asshole, a jerk and in his words an absolute primadonna. The guy is now asking for a million an episode which if we look at previous shows and their cancellation dates isn't a good sign for our beloved show, (can I say Dark Angel and Miss Alba asking for an exorbant amount per episode.) Was also told his nickname on set is Jared PuddleDuckie. Obviously this could all just be rumor, or word of mouth from a disgruntled cast member but I just thought it was interesting..

Oh and has anyone else noticed how Jared rarely drives the Impala, guess it's because the owner of the vehicle doesn't like him and has requested, (rather forcefully) that he not be put in the drivers seat.

I feel like if he was such a jerk to work with we would have heard about it before. That kind of behavior always comes out, I mean look at Shannen Doherty or Lindsay Lohan, Christian Bale and his rants. I don't believe it and I really hope it's not true
