The results to my CPT (college placement test):

Reading (comprehension) - 73 out of the 83 required.

Sentence Skills - 90 out of the 83 required.

Arithmetic - 36 out of the 85 required.

Elementary Algebra - 29 out of the 72 required.

So as far as THAT goes:

Reading - I'm going to retest and try to get higher so I can avoid remedial classes.

Sentence Skills - 2 points away from an honors class but I don't know if I will retest and try for it.

Arithmetic - Remedial class.

Elementary Algebra - Remedial class.

There's no way I will pass the math, even if I studied straight for a week. It's just not my subject and I've been out of school for 3 and a half years. I'm rusty.

i feel for you about the maths... it was my biggest option for my final exams in High School but i hated it - and now i can't even help my little sister with stuff i've done two years ago and partly re-done last year

good luck anyways and congratz for the sentence skills

congrats on sentence skills and close on the reading

unlucky about the others do you do the remedial classes in the summer then? when do you start then?

ok, that's understandable. it must be difficult to get back into the swing of it . . .

Hey! Good job Ashley on the stuff that matters!

Math is evil. I don't know why it exists

I'll be taking the remedial classes in the fall. If I did them now, I'd have to start next week and there is just no way I can do that. Too many things are blocking it.

I slept some earlier but then I had woken up and couldn't go back to sleep.

It is pretty hot here, but not too bad. Yet. Next weekend we're SUPPOSED to go to Disney, but that's still not set. We'll find out tomorrow or Monday, hopefully. Sea World was a possibility for tomorrow but we've decided not to go since my mother's back is hurting her. :yuckky:
