Shah Rukh Khan seems to be telling many of his near and dear ones to be his guest. And most of them are more than willing to attend the cricket matches with him. Apparently, all the actors who’ve gone to cheer his team, have returned impressed with the host that he is. "He personally looks into everything from the minute you reach the airport the flight boarding, getting into the bus, a comfortable drive to the hotel and check-in, commuting to the venue, the food and everything else. Also, he is extra protective of the ladies who are travelling, and Gauri’s friends and actresses," says a close friend of Khan. Now, that’s our host-rider!

Only Shah Rukh can cause such a frenzy even if it's Paris. And the red carpet was rolled out for him at the Musee Grevin where his wax statue was unveiled.

SRK, who was accompanied by wife Gauri and close frined Karan Johar, was clearly impressed with himself. "Amazingly handsome like someone I know," said SRK.

King Khan, the badshah of Bollywood immortalised in wax here. He's seen as one of the biggest icons of emerging India and with the unexpected crowds thronging to just get a glimpse of SRK its clear that SRK's fan club is going global.

Shah Rukh second choice for Paanchvi Pass?

We wonder what Shah Rukh Khan would have to say to this, but his latest quiz show Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hain? (Star Plus) was first offered to Amitabh Bachchan. Bachchan turned down the show because he did not like the concept. Says a source, "Bachchan was the first choice for Paanchvi Paas… but after he declined the offer, SRK was approached for it."

When contacted, Bachchan confirmed that Star Plus had come to him with Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hain? While rushing off to the airport to catch a flight to London for the press conference of Ravi Chopra's upcoming Bhootnath, Bachchan said, "Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hain? was discussed with me by Star as one of the possible shows they wanted me to do. We are still talking about what we can do together. We are discussing more ideas and sample shows."
