Lais, Doutzen and Emily hold on to their Tier 1 status, although Emily was behind for much of the vote and staged a real comeback to scrape a draw against an on-form Edita. Barbara Palvin returns to the playoffs for the first time since January, relegating Lorena to Tier 2 after her three month spell in the top tier.

Model Focus - Barbara Palvin

Barbara is back in Tier 1 after a three month absence. She had dropped out of the top 10 altogether in March, but now gets another run at the Model of the Month title. Her January playoff appearance resulted in a loss to Candice Swanepoel, and her quarter final match today is another tough one, against Doutzen Kroes. Doutzen has had two top 3 finishes and on paper should win this match, but the two have not played before and Barbara could pull off a surprise victory.

The other quarter final is a grudge match between Lais Ribeiro and Emily Didonato. Emily shocked Lais last month to grab the #2 ranking, and another win today would knock Lais out of the top 3 for the first time. Can Lais take her revenge?
