Baby buzz swirls around Tom Brady, Gisele Bundchen

Well, if you believe the buzz from Brazil, it’s because 12 and his supermodel spouse Gisele Bundchen may be trying for Baby No. 2! “Gisele sees the beautiful relationship her son Benjamin has with his half-brother John Edward and she just wants to get pregnant again," a source close to the supermodel told a South American maggie.

I really hope it´s true, but I doubt it. Never believe what you see in news and tabloids

This is one of those instance's you cannot believe until you see it for yourself. Until there is a clear baby bump going on in one of her paparazzi photos, you can't believe these kinds of rumors. They will always spread rumors about Gisele wanting/being pregnant, but just don't believe it until you see it.

Besides she does not talk about this sort of thing. She didn't even confirm her pregnancy with Benjamin. Tom did, and not until 3/4 months before the baby was due!

And as much as I would like to see her preggo again, I think shes pretty busy right now to fit in another baby into the schedual.

Gisele Bundchen Is Still Outperforming The Dow

Aside from being the worlds top-earning supermodel for the 7th year in a row, Gisele Bundchen is also a great investment. Thats according to economist Fred Fuld, who created, in 2007, a stock index which charts the performance of companies represented by Bundchen in comparison with the Dow Jones Industrial Average.

At the time, Fuld found out that the Gisele Bundchen Stock Index was up 15% between May and July 2007, substantially surpassing the Dow, which was up just 8.2%. With a list of clients that includes powerhouses such as LVMH, News Corp. and Procter & Gamble, Bundchens stock index was up 29% by the end of 2007, while the Dow had a gain of 6.5%.

In his report, Fuld cited the example of Bundchens contract with German automobile manufacturer Volkswagen to stress the supermodels business savvy. She could have become the spokeswoman for General Motors of Ford, both of which have received government bailouts and may yet declare themselves bankrupt. But Volkswagen is in much better shape, and is even considering buying Porsche.

Bundchens long relationship with Victorias Secret was also the subject of Fulds attention. In May 2007, the supermodel announced that she would not renew her contract with the lingerie company, which reportedly paid her $5 million per year. Soon after the news of the break-up came out, the shares of Victorias Secret parent company, Limited Brands, fell 31.5%. And even though the Gisele Index was down 15.7% between 2007 and 2009, it still managed to outperform the Dow, which was down over 30% during the same period. Just last week, Fuld updated his numbers on the Gisele Bundchen Stock Index.

Heres an excerpt from his report:

The Gisele Index is UP 41% since January 2007 versus the Dow which was DOWN 4% during the same period. Since January 2008, Gisele was up 39% versus a drop of 4% for the Dow. And since January 2009, Gisele rose 67%

According to Fuld, the Gisele Index could have had a better result should the supermodels contract with Apple had been extended (Bundchen appeared on the "Get a Mac" advertisements to promote a new line of Macintoshs a few years ago). If Apple was still in the index, he wrote, her return would be significantly higher. Last September, Bundchen was the theme of a special business documentary aired by Brazils leading news channel, Globo News, during which ad man Mauro Silveira, who works at the Giovani+DraftCB agency and has worked closely with Bundchen in the past, spoke on the supermodels strategy when considering new clients. Before any negotiation, Patricia [bundchen's twin sister and manager in Brazil] will request as much information as possible, like what is the companys main activity, who leads the company, and, from there, her team will do a research work to check if she can benefit from a possible partnership or not, Silveira explained.

Such caution seems to be paying off not only for Bundchen, but for her clients as well.

Pantene model will inaugurate the Institute Experience, the first space project in Latin America

Gisele Bundchen does not take the child to work backstage

Model told the 'Journal of Sao Paulo' that Benjamin has not seen the march and shoot, because the child still does not understand his work.

While recording a commercial for Pantene in Sao Paulo, Gisele Bundchen told the newspaper "Diario de Sao Paulo" that his son, Benjamin, who is two years old in December, has not seen the parade or shooting. "I do not want to take you backstage at a fashion show. It's always a lot of running around. It is still too young to understand my work," he said.

Gisele admitted that her favorite show is staying with family. "No matter what we are doing together, anything with them is wonderful," he said, mentioning her husband, Tom Brady.

The model also revealed her beauty secrets. "I take it everywhere a cream to moisturize the skin, a creamy lip pencil color of the lips and mouth to my favorite perfume," he explained.

hmm yeah fashion shows and shoots are a little too crazy an environment for a very young child I can imagine. with all those people running around and stuff. Maybe with a baby it would be ok but probably not best for an almost 2 year old who is very curious and can't stay put.

I think his grandma and aunts watch him when Gi works in Brazil if/when he goes with her. (so glad she taught him Portuguese at a young age! lol).
