This must have inspired the Ciri-Witcher ending option in W3, they even named one of the chapters in the game "Something ends, Something begins":
He was silent. He knew that.
He was silent. He remembered his own escapes.

Thaler is a really underrated character. Hilarious and memorable. He is big in Witcher 1 and has short, but really good content in W3. 'Farewell' also has him send a message.

So he joins a select group of awardees. Last year's winner was the creator of the "Super Smash Bros" franchise.

The Call of Duty franchise lost 1/3rd of its player base by March 2022.

I think it's about time. This franchise is too outdated- old gameplay, small and claustrophobic maps, etc. It's not a good shooter. Red Orchestra 2 (2013) was a hundred times better.
Big budget WW2 / Modern warfare shooters can be much better than COD.

Finished and enjoyed watching "Farewell of the White Wolf" a second time. I like how Dandelion's contemplative side is more clearly expressed here (from the novels) than in W1-3. Also Regis was great, and it is nice to see the Regis-Ciri reunion and their recollections of the ending of the novels.
The first act is particularly relaxing, and the whole thing party elevates my mood.
More thoughts on the endings. On Season of Storms ending #1 (book spoilers)
the idea that Ciri and Dandelion died generations ago and Geralt/Yenn are still alive gave me chills. In the novels, one of the two endings is that Geralt was still alive. (book 8 )
Oddly enough, in a way Endings 1, 4, and 2/3 could potentially be the same ending if they experience 4, 2/3 and then 1 in sequential order.

I have used MSI GE76 Raider for a while now.
It's a good laptop but there are three flaws:
1. There isn't enough RAM in the laptop, if there are a lot of things running the laptop will actually stutter due to lack of memory 16 is a bit low, 32 would have been ideal.
2. The laptop heats up significantly in the summer. My external fans works well but when the temp is really humid I can see the CPU getting too hot if I'm not in an air-conditioned space. I finally saw the laptop stutter for the first time in July.
3. The laptop has only about 960 MB of free SD Hard drive space. It could use one more gig, for laptop longevity.
Other than that, CPU and GPU have been very strong so far.

love this!

yeah!
I like how Haddock is wearing Geralt's Skellige outfit and Tintin is wearing Touissant gear. Pretty fitting if you ask me.
There's roach and the hanged man tree in Velen. An easter egg about the tree is that the naive scholar (who has come to White Orchard to study the area) is later encountered by Geralt is hanging from the tree with his boots missing- just as Geralt warned could happen.

I always liked this sequence of encounters:

revisiting this was nice, Shani romance. The party is one of the best parts of the W3. So many real life scenarios and life lessons, exceedingly well written and acted. Timeless:

It is striking that there are many 'romance' archetypes in the W3. Just some come to mind:
Yennefer: Extremely loyal and devoted, but openly critical/condescending/bossy, high standards for men.
Triss: Very sweet and devoted, but is a social justice warrior.
Shani: Career girl, career comes first before relationship.
Syanna: Casual sex girl, redeemable sociopath
Ciri: independent warrior woman, adventurer.
Cerys: wise, observant, socially and politically astute, intrigued and attracted to Geralt
Priscilla: Artistic girl, and social
Dandelion's lovers: Simple Farm girl (easily seduced), Rich lady, Writer/preschool teacher, and Rich, rebellious/spoiled girl.

Let's hope so!
I'm cautious now. I don't take gaming companies' word at face value any more...
