How do you feel about SI 2005 magazine

I think Marisa is a perfect choice for a swimsuit issue.  It's not the runway issue or the babes of Brazil issue... although I don't like some of the other ones, such as ABB (I don't see it) and a few of the newcomers.

Well Gocho, indirectly. It seems that most of the models chosen for this year have that athletic (corpulent) build and have that (butt ugly) girl next door face, in response to the popularity of Marisa Miller. So actually, I should blame the 30,000 people that visit Marisa's bellazon thread (Or maybe the california model scout who was wearing beer goggles one afernoon four years ago).

i dont get the catalogs that much but i usually skip marisa's pics

My horse isn't that high, I usually look at em all, SI or VS.

Yeah, there are a lot of girls i could easily see walking in the street, Very ''normal'' girls in the issue. And in SI should be featured amazing girls that guys only dream of.

But MM to me is amazing.

this year i think they spent their budget on the tv show and didnt have enough left in the budget to go get the caliper model that they usually have. they only had like 3 or 4 Models up to my si standards

Ya exactly what iw as thinking I didnt want to post it on her thread but her stomach looks like bendable plasitc It looks very scary actually, It looks fake and just like rubber. It looks very gross IMO.

I don't really follow SI so I don't know, but they probably could have chosen abetter cover model than Carolyn Murphy

I prefer the VS swim models and photography this year to the SI

I just checked out Alicia Halls pictorial, sheesh could she be anymore stiffer in her pics, She looks so lifeless and I dont care.!

I agree with Iris, the VS Swim catalog's pics were wayy better. SI prides itself on having minimal airbrushing/touch ups but..people don't want to see shoddy quality pictures that don't flatter the models.

you guys have been looking at fashion models too long - skinny people who are the way they are without having to work at it. marisa has more muscle on her than the girls you guys (and ladies) are used to gawking at, if its not your thing thats cool, but at least be accurate with the criticisms.

well i dont know about you but i dont like seeing a woman who has more muscle then an avg man...thats a turn off for me. what marisa has isnt tone...its pure muscle and thats totally a turn off for me.
