What's your fantasy?

we know there are people that read the real ones, because they keep churning them out. I'd be curious if anyone would read parodies... or would that be too blatant a slap at the people that actually get into them...

I think the problem with a parody of such novels would be that they are already so cheesy to begin with, a parodie wouldn't add anything to the mix that would broaden the universe of those novels enough to make it an interesting exercise. Mob novels/movies have the same problem.

I'm not a writer, but I'd do it in a dry style just taking everything to extremes and replacing the accepted staples of the genre with ludicrous things

That's my point, the accepted staples of the genre are already ludicrous.

i could just see Lazy writing up those cheesy erotic books that women buy at the drug store.... "the sex crazed ninja and how he gave it to me good"

The story begins with our hero, a silenty but deadly ninja assasin bathing at a secluded spring. All is well, peace is abound...but for how long? Footsteps.... Our ninja can feel the steps vibrating the bath water. In a flash he is dressed and peering out of a shadowy tree. Seconds later a beautiful young woman, looking rather distressed with her robe torn half off and tears in her eyes, runs under the tree. Her face is full of horror, her head fixated on the direction she came from. A shrill scream fills the air as two men, clad in gaudy black and yellow armor amble twards her with a menacing grin, and a knowing laugh.

so seriously, spend the ten seconds to start a blog, and then post on bz whenever you've got an update to it. put it in your siggy, or something

I could start my own thread. Hijackers don't matter. The thread would still be there, and people can just scroll down past the hijackers message. I like to read posts where someone totally goes on a tangent and talks about everything they can think of. lol, it's funny.

I don't know if people would even read my ninja love stories full of blood, beheadings, naked sex, horrible jokes, and internet humor.

I guess if you started a thread here, you could see how many views it was getting. although you would have a limited audience... albeit a built-in one as well
