i do all my scans at 1200dpi

My scanner doesn't go any higher. But 600 is fine, since most print comes at 320 and online it's 72 ( I didn't go to a graphic design school, I swear :lol: )

mine goes to 9600

I got it a while ago, I think it's my all time favorite piece of paper. When I got it there were a ton of pictures I hadn't seen before, I'm happy with it.

i have never gone higher the 1200...it lags like hell at 1200 as it is.

600 does pretty good. It scans it at about the size the paper would be ( 8x11 ). I suppose the higher dpi would make you able to print posters or something

well that and because i shrink and edit all on photoshop so by the time im done the pic is like 2400px in height.

I'm scanning my magazine and I keep scanning upside down because I'm not paying attention.
