that happened to me once....i stood in line for 14 hours....my feet wanted to fall off

I would have been fine, but my shoes don't have any insoles. The dogs ate them and I haven't gotten around to replacing them <_<

that sucks ass.

My dogs eat everything. The Dalmation has, currently, eatten shoe insoles, tic tacs, soda cans, window blinds, most of the roses in the backyard...I'm sure there's more, I just can't think of anything else.

yeah....i have to come in like a bubble and hope the dog doesnt chew through it.

Oh! She killed one of the couch cushions. But I think that was more of a beating-it-up-and-making-sure-it's-dead kind of thing, instead of a you-people-never-feed-me-so-I-have-to-eat-anything-that's-not-nailed-down kind of thing.

All of my art pens are destroyed <_< "Oh I thought it was a regular pen." Right, that's why it looks completely different and says ART on the side in big letters.

Sigh.

If anyone ever has the chance to go to a tech school, don't. Especially Collins College, because these people couldn't find their ass with both hands and a fucking flash light.

I went out and bought the first three books of His Dark Materials, a stuffed tigger ( to make my collection that much bigger ) AND found a cool Slytherin pillow at Hot Topic. I think I shopped well today

This is what a friend told me:

Pullman recently released Lyra's Oxford, which contains a short story, a 3 maps of her Oxford, and a postcard. The short story takes place 2 years after TAS and looks back on the events, but it doesn't give away any plot.

He's also working on another collection of short stories, The Book of Dust. Not much information has been released, but he's given a list of what might be in the book.

-How Lee and Iorek met

-How Farder Coram and Serafina Pekkala fell in love

-Possibly the story of how Coulter and Asriel met

-Lyra 4 years after TAS (no mention of Will, though) There was some speculation that this was going to be taken out and turned into Lyra's Oxford, but it appears from quotes and interviews that Pullman is merely using Lyra's Oxford as a bridge to a larger story with her in the Book of Dust. The details of that story have not been mentioned, but the events of Lyra's Oxford supposedly set the scene, and introduce us to necessary characters in the new story.

I'll have to get Lyra's Oxford though. Just because
