you try and heal and i will have to get your addy again cuz i forgot it...then we will come and have a visit.

You would think so. Since it could just be how she viewed everything when she was young. Though maybe Lyra's Oxford looks back on how she used to see it, and how it is now?

tell you the truth avada she wanted to visit you on friday night on our first date but you know me...i dont go to someones house unless i know they are home and i know i can reach you faster on the net but i had no computer access...and i forgot your house but i know how to get there.

I always remember how to get places, but never the numbers of the house. It's all landmarks and things.
I'm currently curled up with a book and very hot tea. And I feel a lot better than I did yesterday, which is a good sign.

Have you read Pullman's Sally Lockhart trilogy? It's great too. But, the Dark Material is phenomenal. Sally Lockhart, like Lyra is a young girl with so much personal strength. I like how Phillip Pullman does the character development of his female characters in his stories.
I haven't read it yet, no. The first books by Pullman I've read is the His Dark Materials trilogy. And I read that because about four people I know were poking me to. I'm tempted, if/when I go out this weekend, to pick up some more by him.

The Wind on Fire Series by William Nicholson

Eoin Colfer book sucks. Incredibly childish. I have read the Wishlist and was very disappointed. The Artemis Fowl trilogy was also terrible. They are making a movie of theArtemis Fowl trilogy and word is that they are making it now. So, the movie will be released much earlier than The Dark Material movie.
A much better alternative to Eoin Colfer would be Anthony Horowitz. He had this trilogy about a 14 year old school boy reluctantly turned into a mini 007 by the MI6.
I'll read it anyway because I'm curious. I read all different kinds of things, so for all I know I'll like it. There are some books I can't live without that the vast majority of people I knoew hate. or there are other books ( like to Kill a Mockingbird ) that people love, that I can't stand

I don't think I have, though Animal Farm rings a bell.
It's not so much as classics as "books i had to find metaphors in for english class" that I hate. If I had read it on my own, I probably would have liked it.

I think I've seen the movie actually, which is why it rings a bell, but I've never read the book. I suppose I'll have to pick it up now ( since books are always better than the movies that are based on them )

I thought I'd toss this up here so there wasn't drama or something.
With the men I've grown up with ( by and large all Sicilian ) I've learned a few things. One being? They're extremely fucking protective. I can't even think about dating without giving half of them reasons as to why, and they want to meet whoever it is and then question the hell out of them. So yeah, if someone I was with cheated on me? Or treated me badly? There would be a lot of hell to pay.
And that's not a reference to the mob. It's a reference to, from what I've learned, Sicilian men are extremely protective of their women. Period.

you should meet my dad....im dating now and he thinks im getting married.
animal farm...i have read that book....its a good book. ![]()

Well, the guy I was dating a year ago ( who I got rid of real fast because I don't deal with sensitive guys well ) had to go through a third degree from my friend Wes and his older brother Tony. Tony being a marine. Who is cranky. This is the same Tony who I fake-married when I was like eight so it's this whole thing
