Do guys really like tall girls?

Lol. It's not a joke. I've been wearing heels almost every day for the last 6 years. I wear them to work (I sit all day in a desk, so it's really not bad at all) and on most occassions outside of work, aside from the obvious when going to the gym or the beach where tennis shoes or flip-flops are the norm. I love heels. I think they are sexy and I feel like they make my body and posture way more attractive than when I wear flats. I tend to hunch more when I'm in flip-flops, versus when I'm heels I straighten my posture.

Heels are always hot No matter what.

They look hot but they give your feet corns

(Well, girls who are used to wear heels every day probably don't have such problems too often, but still...)

I've never had corns in all my years of wearing heels. Maybe it's because I give myself regular pedicures?

Heels on a tall woman is very attractive...

5'5" isn't really tall, unless you were making a general statement, in which case you really didn't need to quote me. I would ask how so though, I mean, there are certain heels that I think look sexy on a girl (see image below), but for the most part, I just don't get how it makes them attractive. Heels are usually quite ugly imo.

rockTheSky, I think it's a thing of personal preference. I think that women who wear tennis shoes with jeans look sloppy. I think heels (or pretty ballet flats) can really pull an outfit together and put a nice finishing touch on an outfit. I'm not thrilled will all the heels out there, but I love stilettos and classic styles of heels.

Also, when a woman wears heels, it makes her taller, which makes her legs look longer in a pair of jeans or pants, which can be more attractive. And of course, I think a woman's legs always look better when they are elevated by a pair of heels than just regular flats, it makes the legs look more lean, long, and just more attractive in general.

Like I said, it's personal preference.

And 5'5" is about average. I think sometimes those of us on BZ forget that the average woman is not a 5'11" supermodel.

I meant corns that you can get from wearing brand new shoes, and from high heels as well...

I think it's somewhat superficial, not to mention short-sighted to boil that down to the height difference. It could be for any number of reasons.

Would you really want guys "flocking" round you? A lot of girls tend to express a level of disgust and/or unease about males checking them out in public, let alone flocking round them.

In any event, one thing I've observed is that where there is a pretty girl - period - there are guys close by, whether it's a bf or just guy friends. That's regardless of height or age.

I've visually drawn to tall girls. I guess I'm attracted to them. I'm 5'10", and 5'11" just seems such a sexy height to me (Nicole Kidman, Niki Taylor range). But it's all kind of a head thing, as I've never been with anyone over 5'8", and don't particularly desire to I guess. Someone taller than me would be kind of weird.

I think the attraction of height has to do with legginess, and who doesn't love that in a woman? Having a larger proportion of your height in your legs is a female secondary sexual characteristic. That's what high heels are all about, ladies, LOL! (And making the legs and butt more shapely, and matching your outfit...) I totally get why women want 100's of high heels. Paging Imelda Marcos..

One thing I've been seeing more and more of lately is taller and larger Asian girls. Has anyone else? I'm talking 5'9", 5'10". I was in a bar last night and there was this AsianAm girl that was maybe that height, solid build, in a lacy white blouse and a short lacy black skirt, with a big red belt. Garish and bad taste, but I was just riveted by her physique.

So, I guess I do like tall girls. But I'd turn it around, and ask, do girls like tall guys? LOL. Of course they do

That assumption no doubt comes from the observation of seeing a lot couples where the guy is taller. Well it might come as a surprise to you that this has less to do with preference than it does the natural difference in height between the two sexes. The average height for males is taller than the average height for a females.

5' 9" is a nice compromise height. Attractive without being overwhelming. But in heels, that's probably 5' 11", no? Not overwhelming, but taller than me.

and to answer this thread's question yes. If there were somehow identical twins but one was only 5'2 while the other was 5'7 to 5'10, id definitely be more attracted to the taller one.

I like short girls, shorter the better, well under 5'0" might start getting a little extreme... but yeah

i'm 5'10' and honestly whished my gf was shorter!!! but hey ... what can ya do...

I don't think i could ever do anything with a girl taller than me... would just feel weird
