Rinne has had an off year this year by his standards probably a mix of old injuries and the way he's played, the D corp is amazing and if the forwards can score which they do sometimes they can be a threat for sure. but overall it'll probably St Louis if they don't choke out of the west. or LA

Brian Elliott will choke in the playoffs again. I think it's a 3 team race for the Cup that all happen to be in the Western Conference in Chicago, Anaheim, and LA.

I hate this playoff format and wish the NHL would go back to the old format.

That's if Elliot starts, i'd rather have Allen in the playoffs as my goalie

I wouldn't trust the Elliott/Allen tandem at all.

On an 8 game losing streak, the team just doesn't give a shit anymore.

These are their last 7 games; SJ, @SJ, @Anaheim, LA, @Edmonton, @Calgary, and Edmonton. They might win 1 or 2 of those games with the way they are playing right now.

Isn't he missing Game 1 because it was a 6 game suspension? So he'll be back for Game 2?

Yes, it was a sarcastic statement about how much of a joke the NHL’s Department of Player Safety is. His suspension should've been the rest of regular season and 7 playoff games imo. Duncan Keith is a repeat offender.

I wouldn't call myself a "fan" but if I had to choose a team to root for I would choose the Bruins I work with a few people who work[ed] for franchise. Most of the players are pretty nice and down-to-earth especially Ferrence (too bad he is w/ the Oilers now ) BTW, Hawks & Bruins game on TV now

Hockey players in general are really good dudes. I'll pass on that game as I don't like either team.

The Red Sox . Fenway Park is awesome place to watch a game though.

Gonna need to go on a 4 game losing streak to close out the season to get a better percentage to win the draft lottery on April 30th.

It pains me to have to cheer for the Hawks but I need the Bruins to lose. D:

Echoing the whole most hockey players are stand up guys off ice. Few exceptions but generally they aren't the troublemakers.

The last weekend of the season is upon us, the only things that are still up in the air is the last Eastern Conference wild card spot & the 3rd seed in the Atlantic Division.

Detroit & Boston are fighting for the 3rd seed in the Atlantic and last wild card spot.

Philadelphia's only chance for the playoffs is the last wild card spot.

Detroit clinched a playoff spot even though they lost to the Rangers.

The Bruins lost to Senators and have to hope Philadelphia loses their last 2 games to make the playoffs.
