<_< I have to follow Calgary this year. Phoenix is shot. Philly got rid of all the players who could actually play, and Chicago won't be the team I know they can be until the GM and coach are hog-tied and drowned in Lake Michigan.

Okay! I really really really REALLY REALLY REALLY need to update Tony-Amonte.Com but cannot think of a new layout TO SAVE MY LIFE.

So, I need help. Either finding images to use, layout ideas, whatever. The news alone is going to kill me so yeah. I need either USA or Calgary pictures of Mr Amonte (Calgary is being annoying and not taking pictures of him. Unless I'm just looking in the wrong place). I can probably come up with something if I find the right picture. I just need HELP. And severe proddage.

who do you guys think was better Lemieux or Gretzky?

I'd have to go with Lemieux, he has so much talent and would have shattered all of Gretzky's records if he wasn't injured for so many years

Actually, thats what makes me think Gretzky was better, he was dependable and consistant, I would rather have somebody who made an average amount of goals and assists year after year than somebody who was high scoring but can't stay healthy.

SOMEONE explain to me WHAT is up with the lineup for the USA Men's Hockey team? Really. They have CHELIOS and snubbed people like Jeremy Roenick and Amonte. And the put DiPietro in front of Esche? Can someone please smack this coach for me?

The American team is a real mess and they tied Latvia yesterday

The Canadians are rolling, they destroyed the Germans, it was 3-0 in the first 10 minutes than they stoped trying

I still think Staal and Spezza should be on the team

Roenick has had a few problems with keeping healthy this year, breaking his finger and whatever else he's done, but really. Chelios? Who came up with that one?

JR isn't on the team cause he opted out, btw. Thats what I've been told. Otherwise, for sure.

and Chelios is an iconic leader of the US Olympic team, Laviolette would have gotten far more backlash for NOT putting him on this team.

Laviolette put together a strong team, and the only reason they struggled the first game was because they only got a half day of practice in before hand because of travel delays. Now that they have crushed a defensive oriented team in Kaz., today will be the real test.

Personally, I think the US is a better team than Canada.

As for Canada Marty Gerber laid down the law, representin the Canes. GO CANES!

Gerber put on a clinic today but the goal that Nash scored that was disallowed was a goal

JR didn't opt out they just didn't select him, and he was so pissed off that he said he would be cheering for Canada, and that he wants to do broadcasting for Canada during the Olympics

Yzerman is a leader for Canada and he is still not on the team because he is to old

There is no way the US is a better team than Canada, Canada can put out 3 teams and all 3 would beat the US but Canada really has to start playing better now, there has been no improvment from game 1 -3, and I kinda expected them to strugle against the Swiss. <_< I just hope this lites a fire under them

They keep talking about giving the "young guys" a chance, and then have people like Chelios, or Thachuk even, so their whole idea of young blood is just stupid. Amonte has never failed to get top numbers and that goes for JR as well.
