i cant get too excited...they've come back from 0-2 in div series before (not to mention their historic comeback from last year's ALCS) but things are not looking particularly good for them

Too bad that wont happen. It seems kind of strange to see the Red Sox get swept out of the first round the way they did. If the Yanks lose tonight's game (which probably wont be played given the weather) I will be a very very happy guy.

look, i dont think it will happen either, but it *could* they've done it before...obviously this is a very different team from 2001, but coming back from 2-1 isnt an impossibility.

dont know why its so strange to see the sox get swept...they were not the team they were last year...people can harp on the yankees problems all they want, and the yanks are under more scrutiny because of the obscene payroll, but the red sox had a shittier pitching staff than the yankees and i am so glad they got swept out of the playoffs because i am so sick of people (not necessarily you, just in general) overlooking their problems or downplaying them.

lucky for me, the angels are my 2nd favorite team, so if they beat us, i'll be sad but will still have something to look forward to.

plus ozzie guillen is gangsta, so i cant hate on the chisox haha
