Great win by the Mets today. 9-7 in 11 innings after Wagner blew the save in the 9th. Hopefully this is the win that starts a long winning streak.

I'm surprised too, but I know it's b/c there was alot of division games series the last couple of weeks. So, with us taking most of the games with Toronto and Baltimore and Boston losing to TB, somehow we ended up in first. Still can't believe it, but I'm happy! :hell yea!:

So many surprise teams are in first place. Who would have guessed that the Reds would be leading the NL Central? Or how about the Yankees in the AL East?

I don't know how long the Rockies will hold onto first, especially with Bonds starting to heat up for the Giants. But it is nice to see new teams at the top of the standings for a change.
