The guy is a moron...I can see why you hate him so much. I wouldn't have cared if he had played for DR or the United States, but a least pick one. How did this become such a big story anyway? Mike Piazza is playing for Italy but the last time I checked he was born in Pennsylvania. I have not heard anyone say anything about that.

I liked Cairo...he is a solid backup infielder. I don't know what the Mets were thinking by not offering him a contract. I guess they feel as though they can get by with Chris Woodard. They also lost Marlon Anderson to the Nats. We had a really nice bench last season.
